A PRODUCT WITH UNIQUE CHARACTER
LAPUELA Honey is an exclusive, hight quality honey which is rich in minerals, flavourful, natural and healthy.
We obtain different types of honey thanks to the way we work our hives and the climate and vegetation of the area.
In addition, we produce it with great care. We manage all the production phases and do not subject the honey to any external process, so that you can enjoy the honey’s properties as if you were eating it from the hive.
OUR EUCALIPTUS HONEY
Sweet, with light acidic notes and a wet wood scent. Eucalyptus honey comes from the valleys located closer to the Asturian coast.

THE BENEFITS OF CONSUMING HONEY
Honey has a sophisticated composition, it is particularly rich in nutrients such as carbohydrates (glucose and fructose) and it also contains antioxidants, vitamins, amino acids and minerals.
Since ancient times, honey has been known for its antimicrobial and healing properties.
Furthermore, it has been recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the American Academy of Paediatrics as an excellent cough remedy.
HOW DO WE KNOW IF IT’S A SINGLE FLOWER HONEY?
The production of single flower honey meets two very particular conditions: the location of the hives and the time of the honey collection.
In our area, the different flowering times stretch from April to October, which allows us to collect diverse types of honey differentiating their botanical origin. Thus, at the beginning of the first flowering time, the heather and eucalyptus tree bloom. Then between late spring and early summer, brambles and chestnut trees grow. During the summer it is the turn of the heather and between July and August, the oak tree blooms.
At the end of August and in September the calluna flowers blossom and we end the harvesting season with the strawberry tree production.
