Wax is a fascinating product made by bees and of paramount importance to them. It is a material they secret voluntarily through 8 groups of glands...
Propolis
ONE OF THE MOST FASCINATING PRODUCTS FROM THE BEEHIVE
How it is made: trees harvest the resins present in the buds and barks of certain trees (such as chestnut, coniferous or poplar trees) during spring and the end of summer.Ā
Wax and saliva secretions are combined to make a more or less sticky substance, which depends on the outside temperature, they use this substance to defend themselves against virus and bacteria. It is an excellent substance for human compsumption due to its antiseptic, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

OUR PROPOLIS
Our propolis, which is collected by bees, shows great diversity depending on the geographical region of production.
In the composition of our propolis we can highlight: substances with antiseptic properties (flavonoids), vitamins (A, C, E and complex B), trace elements, various minerals, fatty acids, wax, pollen, resins and balms

THE BENEFITS OF PROPOLIS
Propolis is antimicrobial (against bacteria and virus) and antifungal, among many other properties.Ā
Propolis stands out for being a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and it is known to accelerate healing in small wounds and mouth infections.Ā
In addition, propolis helps relieve burns and prevents the development of cavities.
HOW DO WE COLLECT PROPOLIS?
In order to collect propolis, nets with elongated holes are placed on the upper part of the beehive, above the honey combs, where bees deposit the propolis.Ā
Once these nets are covered with propolis, they are collected and the propolis is collected for future use in products such as honey with propolis, dyes and mouth spray.
